The final aim is, thus, to create in Calabria centres of excellence aimed at the study of some particular aspects of modern culture, which will have the contribution of the best international professors and a selection of students chosen by a merit criteria among the best young graduates of the partnered countries.
Today, there are three Schools of Knowledge located in the Municipalities of Cosenza, Fuscaldo, and Santa Severina.

It is for this reason that through the Pitagora Mundus Programme ISCaPI has founded Schools of Knowledge in the most characteristic historical towns in Calabria,and therefore re-evaluating and protecting the cultural richness which belongs to the historical centres and their local history and traditions.

A letter of intent was stipulated between ISCaPI and the European association AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe) which promotes the participation of AEGEE members in Italian language and culture courses organized by the Institute.
