The collaboration, formalized through a <strong>Memorandum of Understanding<\/strong> signed in Rende in March 2024, was further strengthened during the mission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crown will play a central role in coordinating IsCaPI&#8217;s local activities, serving as an operational bridge between Nepali and Italian institutions. It will also be the focal point for the <strong>UnaSasa Project<\/strong> and the implementation of SPU programs in Nepal. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nepal Open University<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 24%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Jan. 12, the IsCaPI delegation met with <strong>Rector Prof. Shailu Manandhar Bajracharya<\/strong> and <strong>Prof. Dinesh Raj Bhuju<\/strong> of <strong>Nepal Open University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, an <strong>MoU<\/strong> was signed that provides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NOU&#8217;s entry into the <strong>Summer Peace University<\/strong> network,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The development of online courses dedicated to <strong>peace and development<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The initiation of <strong>student and faculty exchange<\/strong> programs with Italy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"237\" height=\"306\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13498 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-4.png 237w, https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-4-155x200.png 155w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 237px) 100vw, 237px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mid-West University<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong>protocol for academic cooperation<\/strong> under the <strong>Summer Peace University<\/strong> was signed with <strong>Mid-West<\/strong> University, signed by <strong>CEO Upendra Sharma Ghimire<\/strong>.<br \/>The agreement strengthens the international dimension of the university and creates opportunities for joint research and training with Italian universities.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kathmandu Technical School<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kathmandu Technical School<\/strong> has signed an MoU with IsCaPI, signed by <strong>Prof. Dr. Dhruba Kumar Gautam, Vice Chancellor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement is directly part of the <strong>UnaSasa Project<\/strong> and involves the selection of students, the management of preparatory Italian language courses and the issuance of final certifications.<br \/>Thanks to this collaboration, young Nepalis will have access to training programs and professional internships in Italy and Nepal in the tourism and hospitality sectors.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UnaSasa Project<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>UnaSasa Project &#8211; Pythagoras Mundus Program<\/strong> was one of the highlights of the mission. Coordinated by IsCaPI and Crown Institute together with <strong>Kathmandu Technical School<\/strong>, <strong>FNCCI<\/strong> and <strong>Nepal&#8217;s Ministry of Youth and Sports<\/strong>, the project aims to train Nepalese professionals in tourism and hospitality. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course includes:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Italy phase (2025)<\/strong>: intensive Italian language and culture courses and paid internships at Italian facilities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nepal phase (2025-2026)<\/strong>: six-month internship in local companies to apply the skills learned;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From 2026<\/strong>: establishment of Italian language and culture courses in Kathmandu and training of certified teachers in Italian L2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal is to train at least <strong>100 Nepalese youth each year<\/strong> with an employment rate of more than 80 percent within 12 months of the end of the program.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Youth and Sports of Nepal<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:24% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"436\" height=\"294\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13501 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-5.png 436w, https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-5-200x135.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 436px) 100vw, 436px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The delegation met with<strong>Hon. Teju Lal Chaudhary<\/strong>, Minister of Youth and Sports.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister expressed full support for the <strong>UnaSasa Project<\/strong> and expressed interest in traveling to Italy to further develop bilateral collaborations in <strong>youth, sports and education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nepal Scouts<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 23%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the <strong>Nepal Scouts<\/strong> headquarters, IsCaPI met with <strong>Mr. Santosh Thapa<\/strong> and <strong>Ms. Indu Subedi<\/strong>, Joint Chief Commissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/>Discussions revealed a willingness to develop an <strong>exchange<\/strong> program <strong>between Nepalese and Italian scouts<\/strong> aimed at strengthening youth leadership and joint educational activities.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"451\" height=\"337\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13504 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-6.png 451w, https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-6-200x149.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 451px) 100vw, 451px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thimi Municipality and World Gate Project<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:38% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"454\" height=\"342\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13507 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-7.png 454w, https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-7-200x151.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 454px) 100vw, 454px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thimi Mayor Mr. Surendra Shrestha<\/strong>, along with <strong>Dr. Dinesh Raj Bhuju<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Kamal Raj Gosai<\/strong>, welcomed the IsCaPI delegation to discuss the city&#8217;s involvement in the <strong>World Gate Project.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thimi, renowned for its ancient ceramic tradition, was chosen as the creative hub for the project and will officially represent<strong>Asia<\/strong> in this international art initiative that unites creatives from five continents in the creation of identical and shared works, a symbol of global dialogue and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visit allowed the delegation to meet two leading figures in Nepalese ceramic art, <strong>Laxmi Kumar Prajapati<\/strong> and <strong>Ramesh Pradhan<\/strong>. Both artists, heirs to a tradition rooted in the millennia-old history of the Kathmandu Valley, are also innovators capable of reinterpreting traditional languages in a contemporary way. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 17%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Laxmi Kumar Prajapati<\/strong>, considered one of the most influential masters of Nepali ceramics, illustrated the link between art, spirituality and community identity, emphasizing how Thimi&#8217;s ceramics represent not only a cultural heritage but also an economic and social resource for new generations.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"245\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13513 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9.png 245w, https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9-150x200.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 245px) 100vw, 245px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:20% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"384\" height=\"289\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13516 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-10.png 384w, https:\/\/www.iscapi.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-10-200x151.png 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ramesh Pradhan<\/strong>, an artist internationally recognized for his exhibitions and collaborations, on the other hand, highlighted the importance of building bridges between traditional crafts and global art circuits, making ceramics a medium for cross-cultural dialogue.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting had a strong symbolic value: placing the Thimi community and its artists in the context of the <strong>World Gate Project<\/strong> means opening a window to the world for a local tradition, turning it into a <strong>universal message of peace and cooperation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FNCCI &#8211; Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-center\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 24%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IsCaPI met with <strong>President Mr. Chandra Dhakal<\/strong>, along with officials <strong>Mr. Arun Kumar Shrestha<\/strong> and <strong>Mr. Hari Poudel<\/strong>, at <strong>FNCCI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meetings strengthened economic collaboration and emphasized FNCCI&#8217;s role in including Nepali businesses in the training programs of the UnaSasa Project.
