A delegation of students Kurdish, Iraqi, Egyptian and South American was received at the Campidoglio in Rome, in the Protomoteca Room, to attend the presentation of the Pitagora Mundus Programme 2016/2017.
On this occasion the students met the Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Academy for Life, who have put questions in a broader comparison to the cultural project leaders that in eight years has allowed to attend high school in a thousand young immigrants in schools and college schools of Calabria, before, and now also in Campania and Tuscany.
During the event, were delivered the certificates of participation to the student group from Paraguay, having reached the end of their training experience in Calabria.
The meeting, patronaged by the City of Rome, were present, among others, the Dr. Rezan Kader – High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Italy, S.E. Albert Tshiseleka Felha – Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Dr. Emanuela Benini of ‘Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Dr. Maria Stella Franco of the Regional School of Calabria.
Also present were Italian students and teachers dell’IIS Diamante (school leader of Pythagoras Mundus Program) accompanied by the Director Concetta Smeriglio.
