Have the most fulfilling time of your life and be a Volunteer English teacher in the coastal area of Ecuador where you can make a difference in the life of every poor student. You will have the chance to improve your Spanish and enjoy the scenic view Ecuador has to offer.

There are two teaching periods:

  • Long term position (10 months) – May 2017 through late February 2018
  • Short term position (5 months) – May 2017 through September 2017
  • Application Deadline: from February 2017 until early May 2017

Program Details:

  • Teach English in Ecuador to underprivileged students in public schools and make a difference.
  • Classroom teaching approx. 30 hours (45 minutes per class) and 10 hours pedagogical activities such as lesson planning, trainings, workshops, meeting with teachers or parents and other activities
  • Volunteers can teach either morning or afternoon shift.
  • Mandatory participation on the trainings, meetings and orientation
  • Teach up to 40 students per class (student age varies from 5 – 18 years old).

Requirements:

  • B2 English Certificate ( TOEFL,CELTA, TEFL,TESOL)
  • Bachelor’s​ degree in any discipline
  • Preferably with volunteer experience
  • Responsible, flexible, respectful, enthusiastic and patient
  • No criminal record
  • With valid passport of at least 1 year

Commitment

To ensure the utmost commitment and completion of the agreed upon duration of program the volunteers are required to deposit 500 dollars and 35 dollars processing fee. The deposit is fully refundable upon completion of contract and the

Under any circumstance that the volunteer decided to withdraw, cancel or violates any of the terms and conditions stipulated on his or her contract the deposit is non-refundable and immediate dismissal will be imposed on him or her.

Stage 3: 500 dollars- Deposit and 35 dollars- Processing Fee

*Note:  we will waived the processing fee however the 500-dollar deposit is mandatory. In case that the applicant does not want to make a deposit he or she has the option to book his or her own ticket to go to Ecuador and the foundation will refund that amount in Ecuador and will deduct 500 dollars from the reimbursement.
