International Relations is the very soul of IsCaPI and its raison d’être.
In more than 10 years of operation, the facility has closed working relationships with dozens of countries around the world and more than 50 facilities (including public and private entities) located abroad.
The network created by IsCaPI now offers numerous opportunities, as well from a cultural as from an economic point of view.
In particular, the network to which IsCaPI refers has demonstrated its ability to:
- Connect investors with chambers of commerce, educational institutions and public bodies pertaining to the relevant foreign territory;
- create training-work oriented packages capable of creating a leadership class for entrepreneurial start-ups in the area through the involvement of local human capital;
- Promote the inclusion of foreign investors in the territory of Calabria and southern Italy in general through approaching public and private institutions interested in attracting capital;
- create training packages geared toward succession planning for all entrepreneurs who already have established relationships with Italy and intend to ensure the business continuity of these contacts;
- Initiate cooperative relationships with the immigrant network in the foreign country in order to encourage a return of capital to the country of origin.
Network partners include many public entities that already develop, through the IsCaPI network , part of their internationalization policies.
To the hub-and-spoke type of cooperation just described, which has in IsCaPI its center of propulsion and development, we need to add “horizontal” cooperation between the points of the network, a possibility that disproportionately increases the job opportunities that a system like the one created by the Institute guarantees.

In particular, the network which ISCaPI refers to has shown that it is able to:
- Transfer investment fluxes within Calabria and southern Italy in general;
- Aim investments within the local territory on behalf of the entrepreneurs abroad, offering detailed reports of risk and investment opportunity;
- Aim National investments abroad offering all the necessary information in order to reduce any risk;
- Put investors in touch with chambers of commerce, training bodies and the public bodies belonging to the territory abroad;
- Create packages aimed at work training which is able to create a class of managers for the entrepreneurial start-up within the local territory through the involvement of local human resources;
- Favor the insertion of foreign investors within Calabria and southern Italy in general through the public and private institutions interested in capital;
- Create training packages aimed at succession planning for all entrepreneurs who have already begun relations with Italy and who intend to guarantee the continuity of such contacts;
- Begin cooperation relations with the networks of immigrants in the foreign country in order to encourage a capital return to the country of origin.
The partners of the network include numerous public bodies who already develop their internationalization politics through the ISCaPI network. To the abovementioned “hub and spoke” cooperation which has its drive and development, one must add the horizontal cooperation between the point of the network, the possibilities which increase the opportunities of employment that the system created by the Institute guarantees.
Las Relaciones Internacionales son el alma del ISCaPI y su razón de ser. En mucho mas de diez años de actividad se han establecido relaciones con 20 paises en el mundo y con más de 50 estructuras extranjeras (entre entidades públicas y privadas). La red creada por ISCaPI ofrece numerosas oportunidades, tanto desde un punto de vista cultural como económico.
En concreto la red de ISCaPI ha demostrado que está capacitada para:
- Vehicular flujos de inversión en el territorio calabrés y en el sur de Italia en general.
- Orientar las inversiones en el territorio por parte de inversores extranjeros, estableciendo detalladas relaciones de riesgo y oportunidad de inversión.
- Orientar las inversiones nacionales en el exterior suministrando los datos y las informaciones necesarias para reducir el riesgo de la empresa.
- Poner en contacto a los inversores con las cámaras de comercio, las entidades de formación y los públicos pertenecientes al territorio extranjero de referencia.
- Crear paquetes formativos orientados a la succession planning para todos los empresarios que tengan ya establecidas relaciones con Italia y que pretendan garantizar la continuidad empresarial de tales accesiones.
- Iniciar relaciones de cooperación con la red de los inmigrantes en el país extranjero, para favorecer un retorno de capital al país de origen.
Los partner de la red comprenden numerosas entidades públicas que han desarrollado, a través de la red ISCaPI, parte de sus políticas de internacionalización. A la cooperación de tipo hub and spoke descrita anteriormente, que tiene en ISCaPI su centro de propulsión y desarrollo, debemos añadir la cooperación “horizontal” entre los diferentes puntos de la red, posibilidad que aumenta las oportunidades de trabajo que un sistema como aquel creado que el Instituto garantiza.
