The MedPol Summer School, organized by IsCaPI on an annual basis, consists of a series of events consisting of forums, breakout meetings, lectures and testimonies involving representatives from academic, political and civil society areas.
The MedPol Summer School was created to:
To educate in the exercise of the principles that represent the foundations of democracy, peace, tolerance and solidarity, understood as a method of coexistence and integration among peoples and aimed at promoting and enhancing a sense of belonging to the international community;
To support a culture of “solidarity in diversity” by exalting the role of the individual, his uniqueness, and equal dignity;
To develop the culture of critical spirit, creativity and awareness of being protagonists of a life project and historical moment useful for informing, training and bearing witness for future experiences;
To establish an international network of associations aimed at promoting a democratic culture in the world; its political role in an international and Euro-Mediterranean context; and the opportunities related to and embedded in a context of cultural, productive, economic and scientific research spheres;

- Support a culture of “Solidarity in Diversity” enhancing the role of the individual, of its uniqueness, the equal dignity;
- Develop a culture of critical thinking, creativity and awareness to be protagonists of a life project and a historical moment useful to inform, train and give testimony for future experiences;
- Establish an international network of associations for the promotion of a democratic culture in the world; its political role in the international and Euro-Mediterranean partnership, the opportunities connected and added in a context of cultural, productive, economic and scientific research;
- Create and promote an inter-university network between the institutions of higher education involved, aimed at achieving the following objectives:
– To promote activities related to studies, research and culture in the fields of economics, law, social and human sciences , aimed to train the future “world citizens” with awareness and participation,
– Support the preparation and refinement of the groups interested in the economic and political problems of international character through training and specialization;
– Organize meetings, conferences, and activities of educational-cultural nature;
– Promote mobility activities directed tot: students, teachers, researchers.
