A delegation consisting of Kurdish, Iraqi, Egyptian and South American students was received at the Capitol where at the Protomoteca Hall and attended the presentation of the Pythagoras Mundus Program 2016/2017.
On the occasion, the young people met Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Academy for Life, to whom they addressed questions in a discussion extended to the animators of the cultural project that in eight years has enabled about a thousand non-EU youth to attend high school in institutes and boarding schools in Calabria first and now also in Campania and Tuscany.
During the event, certificates of participation were handed out to the group of students from Paraguay who had come to the end of their training experience in Calabria.
Also present at the meeting sponsored by the School Department of the Municipality of Rome were, among others, Dr. Rezan Kader High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Italy, H.E. Albert Tshiseleka Felha – Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Dr. Emanuela Benini of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Dr. Maria Stella Franco of the Regional School Office of Calabria.
Also present were Italian students and faculty from IIS Diamante (lead school of the Pythagoras Mundus Program) accompanied by Headmistress Concetta Smeriglio.

A delegation of Kurdish, Iraqi, Egyptian and South American students was received at the Campidoglio in Rome, in the Protomoteca Room, to attend the presentation of the Pitagora Mundus Program 2016/2017.
On this occasion the students met the Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Academy for Life, who have put questions in a broader comparison to the cultural project leaders that in eight years has allowed a thousand young immigrants to attend high school in schools and college schools of Calabria, before, and now also in Campania and Tuscany.
During the event, were delivered the certificates of participation to the student group from Paraguay, having reached the end of their training experience in Calabria.
The meeting, patronaged by the City of Rome, were present, among others, Dr. Rezan Kader – High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Italy, H.E. Albert Tshiseleka Felha – Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Dr. Emanuela Benini of ‘Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Dr. Maria Stella Franco of the Regional School of Calabria.
Also present were Italian students and teachers of IIS Diamante (school leader of Pythagoras Mundus Program) accompanied by the Director Concetta Smeriglio.

Una delegación de estudiantes kurdos, iraquíes, egipcias y de América del Sur se recibió a las 09.00, en el Campidoglio en Roma donde en la Sala Protomoteca asistió a la presentación del Programa Pitagora Mundus 2016-2017.
En esta ocasión los estudiantes se reunieron con el arzobispo Vincenzo Paglia, Presidente de la Academia Pontificia para la Vida, que han puesto las preguntas en una comparación más amplia a los líderes de los proyectos culturales, que en ocho años ha permitido la partecipacion a la escuela secundaria in Italia a mil jóvenes inmigrantes en escuelase internados de Calabria, antes, y ahora también en Campania y Toscana.
Durante el evento, se entrgaron los certificados de participación al grupo de estudiantes de Paraguay, qiuen han alcanzado el final de su experiencia de formación en Calabria.
La reunión patrocinada por el Ayuntamiento de la Escuela de la ciudad de RomaCapital, estuvieron presentes, entre otros, la Dr. Rezan Kader – Alta Representante de la Representación del Gobierno Regional de Kurdistán en Italia, S. E. Albert Tshiseleka Felha – Embajador de la República Democrática del Congo y la Dr. Emanuela Benini de ‘Agencia Italiana de Cooperación para el Desarrollo, la Dr. Maria Stella Franco de la Escuela Regional de Calabria.
También estuvieron presentes estudiantes y maestros italianos dell’IIS Diamond (líder de la red de Escuelas de Pitágoras Programa Mundus) acompañados por el Director Concetta Smeriglio.
