“Calabria School” is a four-week itinerant cultural language training course that will take place in September and October 2019. The training offer is aimed at young people from Calabria or of Calabrian origin living abroad and is closely related to the enhancement of the historical-cultural and economic-productive characteristics of the Calabria Region in the international arena. Participants will benefit from at least two scholarships awarded to each country represented within the Regional Council of Calabrians Abroad. The scholarships will be awarded to one girl and one boy, aged between 18 and 35, chosen from among young people from Calabria or of Calabrian origin living abroad who are part of a nonprofit organization in their country promoting Calabrian culture. The project also includes offering 7 scholarships to students enrolled at the University of Calabria and 3 scholarships aimed at young people from Calabria in the roles of Writer, Photographer and Painter participating in the initiative. The scholarships will guarantee the winners, during their stay at the host institutions, free of charge, training costs, regional transportation of food and lodging.
